What is PPI?
**PPI** (Pixels Per Inch) measures the “density” of pixels on a screen. A higher PPI means pixels are smaller and closer together, resulting in a sharper, clearer image where you can’t see the individual pixels.
- **~90-110 PPI:** Standard for desktop monitors. Looks fine from a distance, but text may look slightly blurry up close.
- **~150-250 PPI:** Common for high-quality laptops. Looks crisp and sharp for most uses.
- **~300+ PPI:** “Retina” or High-Density. Common on smartphones and premium tablets/laptops. Text and images look “print-like” and extremely sharp.
